Swimming is an individual or team racing sport that uses your entire body to move through water. Different technique and strokes can be taught during lessons which includes 

Freestyle. (front crawl)

Backstroke which involves lying on your back and flutter your legs while circling your arms in a windmill motion

Breaststroke

Butterfly

Sidestroke.

Competition in swimming sport takes place in pools or open water (such as sea or lake) and is the most popular in Olympics.
